Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream

I have hyper-sensitive and reactive skin. Rather than relish the luxury of my pretty-penny cleansers, my facial epidermis shines red after every wash. (What gives, skin?)

Cue Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream, a 78% organic moisturizer formulated for delicate and hyper-sensitive skin. I've slathered two pumps twice a day for one month on every inch of my face to test its claim. The verdict? It's mighty soothing.

This yellow-colored cream brags omegas 3, 6, 7 & 9, along with potent portion of German chamomile CO2 extract to soothe, and Rosehip CO2 Extract to repair and guard the epidermis barrier of moisture. Devoid of alcohol and other irritants, this calming concoction packs a punch but does not irritate or burn on contact. Unfortunately, my facial redness not was not completely calmed or eradicated with each use, but I still count  it as a winner due to its organic elements, soothing action on contact, and ability to dispel at least some of that resilient hue. The smell of the moisturizer is fresh and definitely not as strong as the orange Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil from the same line. It adequately hydrates, but remains light enough to employ under makeup.

I love Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream, and at the moment, 1/4 of the bottle remains despite 4 consistent pumps per day. One pump could stretch for the whole face, but the moisture junkie in me cooed for that extra dollop.

Everyone's skin is different. If you have mild redness or reactive sensitivity, Pai Chamomile & Rosehip Sensitive Skin Cream could completely soothe it away. But if you are highly-reactive and sensitive like me, I recommend it as a management or 'won't make it worse' product rather than a complete solution. At a whopping $48/ounce, I am saving my pennies to buy another.

Available at paiskincare.com (incredibly fast delivery!), naturisimo.com, and freshfaced.ca.

Have you tried Pai Sensitive Skin Cream? How about any other stellar moisturizers for sensitive skin? Please let me know!

  5. I am taking medication atm which gives me the most sensitive/dry skin ever. I have actually found that the US brand, Cetaphil, is amazing! Might have to look into PAi though!

  7. This sounds perfect for my skin- I have super sensitive skin and red dry cheeks. I'm usually put off Pai because of their prices but if you should invest in anything it really should be skincare! I'm definitely going to have to give this a go, especially if I can get it from Naturismo (I love stocking up on sample size products when I shop there) xx
