Guerlain Météorites

Shade: Teint Rosé 01 $58 for 1.05 oz
Ladies and Gents please cue the "oooohs" and "aaahs" because we're talking Guerlain Meteorites today. Arguably the epitome of luxury cosmetics, Guerlain has captured my heart and I'm perfectly fine with that. In fact, if it wasn't for the idea that a wordless post is a lazy post, I would just click X-Large on these pictures and proclaim 'nuff said. But I'm no noob, so we carry on..

A dip of your brush into this pot results in a sublime state of makeup nirvana. Honestly, why hasn't Guerlain yoga become 'a thing' yet? As if to further the trip on your face, the green-colored orbs counteract redness while the true pearl hue mimics white light and blurs imperfections. Groovy. In the end, this deconstructed mosaic is a perfectly-toned highlighter absent of any detectible glitter.  I typically dust a brushfull on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose after applying foundation and painted flowers.
The meteorites' packaging is stunning and iconic, but honestly I prefer the colorful mythic design to this new silver version. Thankfully, each pot contains a cushioning white sponge to prevent a meteor(ite) shower upon opening.

Though they may feel magical, these pearls are not a witches' brew so do not stir your brush too vigorously inside the pot. I've sadly crushed a few escapee pearls into the carpet abyss.

Have you ever tried Guerlain Météorites? I'd love to know!
